- Soldier Roman Kletz (call sign Tryzub) was killed on February 18, 2023 in a battle with the occupiers near the city of Mariinka in the Donetsk region. The fighter was 25 years old. Roman was born in the village of Yelyzavethyn in the Volyn region. He graduated from the Torchyn vocational school and obtained the profession of a carpenter. He was interested in cars, their repair, and also engaged in importing cars from abroad. In his free time, he loved to go fishing. Together with his family, he lived in the Rozhyshche community. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine. He went to serve in the 79th separate air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a rifleman. He was a faithful comrade and a courageous soldier. Above all, he believed in victory and dreamed of returning home to hug his loved ones. "Roman was a very kind, balanced, loving father and husband. I am proud of him, his indomitability and patriotism, and I consider Roman Kletz a true Hero!" said the wife of the fallen Marharyta.
