Roman V. Kyianytsia

Born on May 10, 1992, in the city of Ukrainka, Obukhiv district, Kyiv region. Lived in the village of Makaryvka, Obukhiv district, then in the city of Obukhiv, Kyiv region. In 2007, he graduated from the 9th grade of general education school No. 3 in the city of Obukhiv, and in 2010, from the vocational lyceum in the city of Ukrainka. In the early 2010s, he served in the ranks of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served on the frigate U130 "Hetman Sahaidachny." Since September 28, 2016, he served under contract as a machine gunner in the 72nd Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Operational Command "North" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167 (field post V0849), city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region). Since 2016, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On March 4, 2017, at 22:05, soldier Kyianitsa was killed during shelling in the area of the city of Avdiivka, Donetsk region. On March 7, 2017, he was buried in the cemetery of the city of Obukhiv, Kyiv region.
