- Soldier Roman Lytvyn (call sign Cyborg) was killed on May 24, 2023 near the village of Ivanivske in Donetsk region. During the performance of a combat mission, he suffered a fatal explosive injury. The defender was 35 years old. Roman was born in the village of Pastyrske, Cherkasy region. He graduated from the local school and went to work. Then he served in the military. Since 2010, he lived in the village of Salyvonky in the Kyiv region. In 2014-2015, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. He served in the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, fought for the Donetsk airport. Later, he returned to civilian life. In recent years, he worked at Kyivteploenergo. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Territorial Defense Forces. In September, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 23rd separate special purpose battalion of the Separate Presidential Brigade named after Bohdan Khmelnytsky. He was the commander of the grenade launcher section of the fire training platoon. "You are a Hero. You will forever be in our hearts," said his sons Artem and Dmytro. Roman was buried in the village of Hrebinky in the Kyiv region. The hero left behind a wife and two sons.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
