Roman V. Pyiasiuk

Born on August 19, 1975, in the city of Kostopil, Rivne region. Lived in the village of Piskiv, Kostopil district, Rivne region. Graduated from the general education school of the village of Piskiv, Kostopil district, and Kamian-Kashyrskyi vocational technical school (now Kamian-Kashyrskyi higher vocational school) in the city of Kamian-Kashyrskyi, Volyn region, specializing in "carpentry" in 1995. From December 3, 1993, to June 16, 1995, he served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From October 19, 1995, to February 15, 1998, he served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in a military unit in the city of Kostopil, Rivne region. Since 1998, he worked as a long-distance truck driver for private entrepreneurs in the Rivne region, transporting goods within Ukraine. On September 5, 2014, he was mobilized as a volunteer into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a driver in the 1st separate guards tank brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1815, the urban-type settlement of Honcharivske, Chernihiv district, Chernihiv region). From autumn to winter 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On March 10, 2015, Sergeant Pyasiuk was blown up by a "tripwire" while performing a combat mission in the village of Zlatoivka, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region. On March 15, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Piskiv, Kostopil district, Rivne region.
