- 38-year-old Junior Sergeant Roman Ruduman was killed on July 1, 2023 during a counteroffensive in the Zaporizhzhia direction. The soldier sustained fatal injuries as a result of bombing by enemy aviation. Roman was from the village of Ternivka, Zaporizhzhia region. He studied logistics at the Zaporizhzhia Machine-Building Institute. After completing his studies, he worked as a storekeeper-logistician in a construction store. Then for almost 10 years he worked as a master in the calibration shop at the Dniprospetsstal plant. In April 2021, he joined Nova Poshta. Initially, he was a mechanic for technical and service maintenance of sorting equipment, and in the fall he was transferred to the position of engineer. The man did everything around the house himself. He did a lot of repairs and handywork. He built a house for his family with his own hands: he laid the walls, made the roof, the warm floor, and the heating. He was knowledgeable about technology - he disassembled and repaired his own car. He loved to ride a motorcycle, had a Jawa, and was a member of a motorcycle club. He volunteered for the war in March 2022. He had no military department or army service behind him. He joined the ranks of the 110th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A week after mobilization, he ended up at the front line. He was the commander of a combat vehicle - the commander of a mechanized unit. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended the Zaporizhzhia direction. "Roman approached any task with enthusiasm and responsibility. It was easy to work with him because he was a sincere person with a big heart and a technical mindset. Roman was one of those people whose eyes shine when they are engaged in their favorite work. He fully immersed himself in the work to achieve the result. His contributions to the work of the unit still bring results. Roman was very confident, cheerful and cheerful. Open, he tried to help everyone," said the deceased's loved ones. The defender was buried in the Zaporizhzhia region. At home, his wife and two daughters were waiting for him.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
