- Born on June 14, 1990, in the city of Melitopol, Zaporizhia region. Studied at general education school No. 24 in Melitopol, and from 2002 at the general education school in the village of Dolynske, Melitopol district, Zaporizhia region. Completed 8 grades of the general education school in Dolynske, and in 2009 graduated from the State Vocational and Technical Educational Institution "Melitopol Construction Center of Vocational and Technical Education" (now the State Educational Institution "Melitopol Multidisciplinary Center of Vocational and Technical Education") and obtained the profession of electric gas welder. Served mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Resided in the city of Melitopol. Worked as an electric gas welder. On April 3, 2014, was mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Melitopol-Veselivka United District Military Commissariat of Zaporizhia region. Served as a mechanic-radio telephone operator in the communication platoon of the 93rd Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of Kharkiv, twice awarded the Order of the Red Banner, and the Orders of Suvorov and Kutuzov of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1302 (field post V2830), urban-type settlement Cherkaskoye, Novomoskovsk district, Dnipropetrovsk region). From June 2014, participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On September 26, 2014, the vehicle of the Ukrainian military, in which soldier Roman Yevdokimov was present, was fired upon by Russian armed formations in the area of the village of Karlivka, Marinka district, Donetsk region. As a result of the shelling, Roman Yevdokimov sustained a severe shrapnel wound to the head, which led to his death.
