Roman Ya. Vykhopnytskyi

Roman Yaroslavovych Vykhopnytskyi was born in 1976 in the city of Novodnistrovsk, Chernivtsi Oblast. In August 2020, he was called up for military service in the Transcarpathian region. He held the position of a gunner in the mountain assault company. He participated in combat operations during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He was killed on March 13, 2022. For his personal courage and selfless actions demonstrated in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as his loyalty to the military oath, Roman Yaroslavovych Vykhopnytskyi was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.
