- Soldier Roman Nazarkevych was killed on April 3, 2023, during the battle for the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 35 years old. Roman was born in the village of Neslukhiv, Lviv region. He obtained the profession of a wood processing engineer-technologist at a vocational school. He worked as a plumber. He loved the forest and nature, and planted many hazelnut trees in his yard. He was married and dreamed of a happy family. In 2023, he became a father, but did not have time to play with his son. During the full-scale war, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect his native country and the peaceful future of his loved ones. He fought in the ranks of the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Vladimir Monomakh. He held the position of machine gun squad commander. "My husband was the best. He was a very good husband for me and a good father for our son. He wrote me poems and lullabies. I was very proud of him, he was a breath of fresh air. We lived a year apart. Our son was born in 2023. The child will not have a father, and I will not have a beloved husband," the widow of the fallen said. The defender was buried in his native village. Roman is survived by his father Yevhen, mother Vira, wife Oksana, and son Ustym.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
