Rostyslav I. Mushchynka

Soldier Rostislav Mushchynka (call sign Malyi) died on August 6, 2024, from sudden cardiac arrest after returning from a combat mission. This happened near the village of Borivska Andriivka in the Kharkiv region. The defender was forever 19 years old. Rostislav was from the village of Zupany in the Lviv region. He obtained a secondary specialized education at the Stryi Higher Art Vocational School No. 16. He worked abroad. In 2023, he returned to Ukraine and went to defend the Motherland as part of the 103rd separate brigade of territorial defense. He held the position of grenade launcher shooter in the 3rd company of the 65th battalion. "Rostislav was always sincere and kind, and that is how he will forever remain in our hearts and memory. Eternal bright memory to the young hero!" - wrote his sister Diana. The defender was buried in his native village. Rostislav is survived by his mother and two sisters.
