Rostyslav V. Filipov (Filia)

Serviceman Rostyslav Filipov was killed by a mine on April 4, 2023 in the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. The defender was 30 years old. Rostyslav was born in the village of Yasna Polyana in the Kharkiv region. He lived in the village of Hutyrka. He graduated from a secondary school and later from Keghychiv Vocational School No. 60. He obtained the profession of tractor driver, machine operator-driver. For some time he worked as a cook in a cafe in Odesa, and on the eve of the full-scale invasion - at a metal base in Kharkiv. During the great war, he took up the defense of Ukraine, joining the ranks of the 77th separate airmobile brigade. He held the position of a rifleman-sniper in the 3rd airmobile unit. "He was fair and sensitive, a good son and a wonderful father," wrote the mother of the deceased, Natalia Filipova. Rostyslav was buried in the village of Hutyrka. He is survived by his mother, two brothers, three sisters, a civil wife and two daughters.
