Ruslan A. Havrylov (Khan)

Soldier Ruslan Gavrilov (call sign Khan) was killed on June 9, 2023, while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Dibrova in the Luhansk region. The fighter was 28 years old. Ruslan was born in the village of Novopavlivske, Mykolaiv region. He studied at the Mykolaiv Vocational School as a welder, then obtained the profession of a tractor driver at the Snihuriv Lyceum. Since childhood, he was very cheerful, determined, hardworking, and always actively participated in school celebrations. He loved to play football and draw. He adored children and dreamed of raising his own. He worked in various fields. The man was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the mobilization on December 21, 2022. He served in the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He held the position of a machine gunner. "He was a cheerful person, cheerful, sincere, kind, and always came to help. He will forever remain 28, so young, and he had not even fallen in love yet... He wanted to travel, see the world, start a family and raise children. He was the best uncle and godfather for my children, whom he loved very much. Now he is our guardian angel. You will forever be in our hearts, dear brother. I miss you so much, as if my heart has been torn out. This pain is impossible to convey..." - wrote the deceased's sister Aliona Sklyarova. The defender was buried in the village of Pavlivka, Mykolaiv region. Ruslan is survived by his parents, sister, and nieces.
