Ruslan A. Mukomelets

Born on March 23, 1974, in the village of Velyki Selyshcha, Bereznivskyi district, Rivne region, in a family of collective farmers. Completed 8 grades of secondary school in the village of Velyki Selyshcha, then attended vocational technical school No. 8 in the urban-type settlement of Sosnove, Bereznivskyi district, Rivne region (now the State Vocational and Technical Educational Institution "Sosnivskyi Professional Lyceum") specializing in "welder." Served mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the army, worked in the Sosnivskyi State Forestry. In the summer of 2015, volunteered to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a squad commander in the 28th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0666 (field post V0095), urban-type settlement Chornomorske, Kominternivskyi district (since 2016 - Lymanskyi district), Odesa region). Participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On January 16, 2016, soldier Mukomelets was killed by a sniper's bullet at a checkpoint near the village of Shyrokyi, Stanytsia Luhanska district, Luhansk region. On January 20, 2016, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Velyki Selyshcha, Bereznivskyi district, Rivne region.
