Ruslan B. Yusubov

Born on December 23, 1974, in the village of Vygoda, Bilyaivka District, Odesa Oblast. Graduated from a general education school. Served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during mandatory military service. Served in the 95th Training Center of the Airborne Forces in the city of Zhytomyr (now the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - military unit A0281, city of Zhytomyr). Since 2009, he lived in the village of Slobodyshche, Berdychiv District, Zhytomyr Oblast. Worked on a farm and at a tractor station. In July 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served in the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit V0927, cities of Sievierodonetsk/Lysychansk, Luhansk Oblast). Since 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 20, 2016, soldier Yusubov sustained a severe head injury near the village of Poltavka, Kostiantynivka District, Donetsk Oblast, as a result of which he fell into a coma. He was taken to the Kharkiv military hospital, where he died on July 29, 2016, never having come out of the coma. On August 2, 2016, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Slobodyshche, Berdychiv District, Zhytomyr Oblast.
