- Sergeant Ruslan Danilevych (call sign Fish) was killed on December 10, 2023 near the village of Hryhorivka in the Donetsk region. During the performance of a combat mission, he sustained shrapnel wounds incompatible with life. The warrior was 41 years old. Ruslan was born in the village of Khorly, Kherson region. He graduated from Myrnenska secondary school. He was passionate about fishing. In 2014, he was drafted into the army by mobilization. In April 2016, he was accepted for military service under contract to the 79th Border Guard Unit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. Later, he transferred to the 11th Border Guard Unit, taking the position of a category 2 border guard service inspector - driver of Border Guard Service Unit No. 1. He met the beginning of the full-scale invasion on the frontline. For his service, he received a number of awards, including the distinction of the 11th Border Guard Unit "Valor. Courage. Honor", the "Cross of Honor" medal, and the Order of Courage III degree (posthumously). "You know, my dear, I'm in pain without you, my heart is tearing apart. My beloved, you can't even imagine how hard it is to realize that you are no longer with us, how hard it is to believe that you are gone, I thank you for everything. I was a happy wife, thank you for giving me a son, in whom I see you. With you I was happy, I thank you for every minute spent with me, for that support, for the right words, you always knew what to say and how to support, you always said that I should be strong. I love you endlessly and miss you deeply," his wife Halyna said. The defender was buried at the Marso Field in Lviv.
