Ruslan I. Brahar

Mortar gunner Ruslan Bragar was killed on January 3, 2023 while performing a combat mission near the city of Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region. The defender was forever 24 years old. Ruslan was from the city of Yuzhnoukrainsk in the Mykolaiv region. He stuwas killed at the Kherson Maritime Professional College of the Kherson State Maritime Academy. Since his father was a military man and fought in the ATO, after his studies the young man decided to also defend his country. In 2020, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 40th separate artillery brigade named after Grand Duke Vytautas. In 2022, he was transferred to the 56th separate motorized infantry brigade. There, the man held the position of senior mortar squad commander of the mortar battery. "My brother was a very kind, cheerful and cheerful person. I miss him very much..." - said the elder sister of the fallen Alyona. The warrior was buried in his hometown. A loving family was waiting for him at home.
