Ruslan M. Dzhuzha

Born on December 2, 1990, in the village of Maksym in the Kozelets district of Chernihiv region. Graduated from a general education school. In 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as the commander of the 1st squad of the 2nd platoon of the 1st company of the 13th territorial defense battalion of Chernihiv region "Chernihiv-1" (military unit field post V2278 - since November 2014 - the 13th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 1st tank brigade of the 8th army corps of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine). Since 2014, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in eastern Ukraine. On August 20, 2014, Sergeant Dzhuzha was killed as a result of a mortar shelling of a checkpoint in the area of the village of Kamyshne in the Stanytsia Luhanska district of Luhansk region. On August 23, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Maksym in the Kozelets district of Chernihiv region.
