Ruslan M. Haidaienko (Marshal)

Senior soldier Ruslan Haidaienko (call sign Marshal) was killed on December 12, 2023, from a bullet fired by an enemy sniper near the village of Synkivka in the Kharkiv region. The warrior was forever 35 years old. Ruslan was a native of the village of Ozerna in the Kyiv region. In 2004, he graduated from the Ozerna comprehensive school of grades I-III. In 2007, he obtained the qualification of a mechanic for control and measuring equipment and automation at the Bila Tserkva vocational school. He then served his conscription in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2008 to 2015, he worked in the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine, and then in the National Police of Ukraine. When the full-scale war began, the man continued to perform his duties as a police officer. However, on August 18, 2023, he decided to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought as part of the 210th separate special battalion "Berlingo". He served in the special company. "Ruslan was a kind, responsible and very good person. For us with my son, he is the best. My heart cries and is torn with pain because of such a heavy parting. Every day I pray for Ruslan's peace in heaven. Now in the hearts of me and my son forever is December," his wife Karyna shared. The hero was buried on the Alley of Glory of the cemetery in Bila Tserkva. At home, he was awaited by his mother, wife and son. The soldier was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
