- Junior Sergeant Ruslan Klimenko (call sign Klim) was killed on February 10, 2023 in battle with the occupiers near the settlement of Volodymyrivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was forever 34 years old. Ruslan was born in the village of Hubynykha, Dnipropetrovsk region. He graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. He worked as an investigator in Dnipro. In his free time, he played football. He was married and raised two daughters. He always cared for his family. That is why, with the start of the full-scale war, Ruslan unhesitatingly went to the front. He wanted to drive the occupiers out of his native lands so that his family would be safe and live in a free country. The man served in the 234th battalion of the 128th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a squad commander. He bravely went into battle, leading his comrades-in-arms. "This person was everything to us: the best husband and father from God. Family was his top priority, he adored his daughters. He was a caring, fair father and husband. Ruslan was the best at everything. A true patriot. When the full-scale war began, Ruslan went as a volunteer from the first days," said the deceased's wife Viktoria. The hero was buried at the Krasnopilskyi cemetery in Dnipro. At home, Ruslan was awaited by his wife and two daughters, who were 4 years old at the time of their father's death.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
