Ruslan M. Kramarenko

54-year-old fighter Ruslan Kramarenko was killed on September 29, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Kivsharivka in the Kharkiv region. Ruslan was born in Krasnoyarsk (Russia). When he was 3 years old, he moved with his parents to Izium, Kharkiv region. Here he received secondary education. He attended music and sports schools. He learned to play the accordion and was engaged in athletics. When he received his passport, he asked to indicate that he was Ukrainian in the "Nationality" line. Later, he obtained a higher education. In 2014, when the Russian-Ukrainian war began, the man wanted to go to the front. However, he decided to stay at home because of his mother, who was seriously ill. He lived and worked in the Kharkiv region. He loved Ukraine, its language, culture, and songs. When the full-scale war began in 2022, Ruslan could no longer stay at home. He decided that he had to help bring victory closer and took up the defense of the Kharkiv region, which he considered his native land. He joined the ranks of the special unit "Kraken" and fought for the Kharkiv region together with his comrades. He took part in the deoccupation of Ruska Lozova, Pytomnik, and Kupiansk. "Low bow to you, warrior! Thank you for the native free Ukrainian land," wrote Olga, an acquaintance of the deceased. The warrior was buried in Kharkiv. Ruslan had a sister left. In honor of the fallen hero, a street in Izium was renamed.
