Ruslan M. Slobodianiuk

Born on December 2, 1979, in the city of Kirovohrad (now Kropyvnytskyi). Graduated from the 9th grade of general education school No. 18 in Kirovohrad in 1995 and from vocational technical school No. 8 in Kirovohrad. Served mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After demobilization, returned to Kirovohrad. Worked at local enterprises, including the enterprise "Kreativ." In February 2015, mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Completed military training at the 169th Training Center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0665, the urban-type settlement of Desna, Kozelets district, Chernihiv region). Served as a shooter in the 7th mechanized company of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region). Since spring 2015, participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On April 12, 2015, soldier Slobodyanyuk was blown up by a tripwire while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Starohnativka, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region. On April 18, 2015, he was buried at the Glory Alley of the Roven cemetery in Kirovohrad (now Kropyvnytskyi).
