Ruslan O. Bestilnyi (Pilihrim)

Ruslan Olegovich Bestilnyi was born on May 19, 1991 in Odesa. He spent his childhood and youth in Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region. He studied at the O. Bohomolets National Medical University, but was expelled for participating in the Revolution of Dignity. On the Maidan, he was a medic in the 1st hundred. After the Maidan, he went as part of the 25th separate battalion "Kyivska Rus" to defend the eastern borders of Ukraine. He participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. There he decided to build a military career and study to become an officer, so he entered the National Academy of Ground Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi. During the full-scale war, he commanded a company in the 128th Separate Guards Brigade. He was killed on October 1, 2022 while performing a combat mission in the Kherson region. He was buried in Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region. He is survived by his parents, brother, wife and two sons.
