- Soldier Ruslan Dyachenko (call sign Rulik) was killed on January 14, 2023 while carrying out a combat mission in the Donetsk region. In December, the defender turned 42 years old. Ruslan was born and lived in Kharkiv. He graduated from secondary school No. 76. He worked as a plumber at the municipal enterprise "Kharkivvodokanal". He fought in the ATO in the Donbas in 2014-2015. He was married and raised two children. More than anything, he wanted his family to live in a peaceful country. He cared for the well-being of his family and loved to spend free time with his loved ones. When the full-scale Russian invasion began, the man took up arms again to protect his country and his loved ones from the occupiers. He joined the ranks of the 122nd battalion of the 113th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a platoon commander. "He was a man with a capital letter. Sincere and sensitive, he loved Ukraine very much - he was a patriot!" - said his sister Lyudmyla. "Defending the borders and territorial integrity of Ukraine, the graduate of Kharkiv Secondary School No. 76 Ruslan Dyachenko heroically was killed. He defended our Motherland back in 2014 and went through the great difficulties of the ATO. He was wounded more than once, but without hesitation, he again took up the defense of our state! We express our condolences to his relatives and friends! We are proud! Eternal glory and memory to the Hero!" - noted on the school's page. The defender was buried in the cemetery of the village of Pisochin near Kharkiv. Ruslan is survived by his mother, three brothers, two sisters, wife, son, daughter, nieces and nephews.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
