Ruslan O. Tymchenko

Born on February 17, 1984, in the urban-type settlement of Zghurivka, Yahotyn district (now Zghurivka district) of Kyiv region. Lived in the village of Usivka, Zghurivka district, Kyiv region. In 2000, graduated from the 9th grade of the general education school (now an educational complex) in the village of Usivka, and in 2003, from the Zghurivka Vocational Lyceum (urban-type settlement of Zghurivka). In the 2000s, served in the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0281, city of Zhytomyr). On August 3, 2014, volunteered to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a gunner in the 128th Separate Mountain Infantry Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1778 (field post V4673), city of Mukacheve, Zakarpattia region). Since the fall of 2014, participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Participant in the battles for the city of Debaltseve in Donetsk region. On January 30, 2015, soldier Tymchenko was killed as a result of artillery shelling of the unit's checkpoint in the area of the city of Debaltseve, Donetsk region. On February 8, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Usivka, Zghurivka district, Kyiv region.
