Ruslan V. Buryi

Soldier Ruslan Buryi was killed in action on July 31, 2022, in a battle with occupiers near Bakhmut in Donetsk region. The defender was 46 years old. Ruslan was from Kyiv region. He graduated from the Kyiv Construction Technical School with a specialty in "Construction of building products and reinforced concrete structures". He worked as a security guard. In 2014-2015, as part of the 72nd OMB, he fought in the ATO in Donbas. During the full-scale invasion, the man again took up arms and stood up to defend his native country. He joined the ranks of the A7104 military unit and took the position of a machine gunner of the rifle company. Ruslan fought to the last breath for the independence of his native country and believed in victory over the enemy. "Ruslan was the best son, brother, nephew, husband, uncle. He loved his relatives and life very much. He dreamed of living in a free and strong country. He was killed in action for the sake of our future, our people, and our mother Ukraine," said Svitlana, the deceased's cousin. The warrior was buried in the Alley of Heroes in the city of Vyshneve, Kyiv region. Ruslan is survived by his mother Valentina, wife Tetyana, relatives, and friends.
