- Born on November 17, 1971, in the city of Lviv. Lived in the village of Kryva Balka in the Mykolaiv district of Mykolaiv region. In 1989, he graduated from the secondary school of the village of Kryva Balka. From 1989 to 1991, he served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR. In August 2014, he was mobilized as a volunteer into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as the commander of a mortar crew in the 28th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0666 (field post V0095), the urban-type settlement of Chornomorske in the Kominternivskyi district (since 2016 - Lyman district) of Odesa region). Since the fall of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On February 4, 2015, Senior Sergeant Granda received serious shrapnel wounds during shelling at a checkpoint near the city of Marinka in Donetsk region. The serviceman was taken to a hospital in Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro), where he died from his injuries on February 11, 2015. On February 14, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Kryva Balka in the Mykolaiv district of Mykolaiv region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
