Ruslan V. Korovianko (Livsha)

32-year-old soldier Ruslan Korovianko (call sign Livsha) was killed on November 28, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission in the Krasnohorivka area in Donetsk region. The defender sustained fatal injuries as a result of mortar, artillery, tank shelling, and a massive attack by enemy drones. Ruslan was from the city of Sharhorod in Vinnytsia region. He received secondary education. He worked as a laborer. He played football, was part of district and regional teams, and was a champion of district and regional futsal competitions as part of the youth national team. During the full-scale Russian invasion, in October 2022, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 38th separate rifle battalion, holding the position of a rifleman - a crew member of the machine gun platoon. "I sincerely thank fate for having such a wonderful man and the father of my children. He gave the most precious thing - his life, so that the children could live in a free and peaceful country. Ruslan was brave, courageous, fair, responsible, and a caring father. It's a pity that this ruthless war is taking the best ones," said his ex-wife Iryna. Ruslan was buried in his hometown. He is survived by his parents, two sons, relatives, friends, and comrades-in-arms. The warrior was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
