Ruslan Yu. Anin (Morpiekh)

32-year-old Sergeant Ruslan Anin (call sign Morpih) was killed on April 11, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the area of Novozlatopil, Zaporizhzhia region. Ruslan was born in the village of Verkhnyachka, Cherkasy region, and stu at the local gymnasium. He then graduated from the Kyiv Military Lyceum named after I. Bohun. He was involved in martial arts. Since 2015, he went to defend Ukraine. He fought in the volunteer battalion "Kharkiv-1", then in the composition of the 1st separate battalion of the marine corps. During the full-scale war, Morpih defended Ukraine as part of the SSO "Azov". He was a combat medic. "We always joked that you are a real Viking because you did not want an ordinary death, but wanted to die in battle. That's what happened. You are a Viking. You are a hero. A hero who will never say again how much he loves his naughty sister, who will never light up the dance floor, who will never warm with his smile, with whom we will never be silly in our parents' kitchen. These 'nevers' are endless, as is my endless love for you. I don't believe it and I will never believe it.
