Ruslan Yu. Boburov (Nimets)

A native of Katerynopil, Maidan activist Ruslan Boburov (call sign German) fought in the "Aidar" battalion from the day it was formed. He participated in almost all of the most dangerous operations, being just a step away from death many times. For instance, during the assault on Hryhorivka, a sniper's bullet ricocheted off the front plate and got stuck in the collar of his bulletproof vest. Ruslan then remained in formation, and it was thanks to the operation of his anti-aircraft gun that the foothold was maintained, from which the battalion fighters were already ready to retreat. Ruslan Boburov and his comrade-in-arms Vadym Zherebylo were killed on January 31 as a result of artillery shelling by militants at the Luhansk TPP in the city of Shchastya.
