Biography
Pavlik Ruslan Yuriyovych was born on November 24, 1981, in the city of Lyubotin in the Kharkiv region. When he was still a child, his family moved to the village of Staryi Merchyk, where his parents worked on a collective farm. From the age of 14, Ruslan lived alone, worked a lot, and graduated from the Kharkiv College of Sewing and Fur Production. He built a house for himself in the city of Lyubotin. When he turned 20, he went to serve in the military. He served in the internal troops. After returning from the army, he worked and engaged in business. He got married and raised two daughters. In the early days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian army into Ukraine, Ruslan volunteered for the Armed Forces. He served in the 90th Separate Battalion. As part of his unit, he participated in battles for the city of Izium. In early March 2022, he defended the village of Kamyanka in the Izium district of the Kharkiv region, where fierce battles were taking place. As a result of the fighting, not a single house was left standing in the village, and the bodies of the deceased lay among the rags in the basements. Ruslan heroically died in battle on March 16, 2022. The hero was buried on March 31, 2022, at the New Cemetery in the city of Lyubotin. Ruslan left behind a wife and two children.Burial place
