Rustem S. Abdusaliamov (Abdulla)

Soldier Rustam Abdusalyamov (call sign Abdullah) was killed in action on July 1, 2023 near the village of Dibrova in the Luhansk region. He evacuated a wounded comrade and returned for another, but the positions were already occupied by the enemy. On October 11, the defender would have turned 45 years old. Rustam was born in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan). He graduated from the Kryvyi Rih Technical University, where he obtained a higher technical education. A significant part of his life, he worked as an electromechanic in the mines of Kryvyi Rih. After the start of the full-scale invasion, the man returned from Poland and volunteered to the military enlistment office. On March 1, 2022, he was accepted into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky. He held the position of a rifleman. "Rustamchyk was a beloved and reliable husband, a loving and caring father of his children, the only and dearest son of his parents. He went because he could not stand aside when children - young 19-25-year-old boys - are dying in this war," said the widow of the fallen Alla. The warrior was buried in the village of Petrivka-Romenska, Poltava region, where he lived with his family. Rustam is survived by his father, wife and three children.
