Serhii A. Havrylenko

Serhiy Anatoliyovych Havrylenko was born on March 6, 1980, in the village of Khukhra, Okhtyrka district, Sumy region. He graduated with honors from Khukhryanska Comprehensive School. He obtained two higher education degrees — in technical and economic fields. From 2006 to 2015, he was elected twice as a deputy of the Okhtyrka District Council. From April 2014 to February 2015, he served as the head of the Okhtyrka District State Administration in the Sumy region. He served under contract at the Kharkiv Aviation Institute, renewing his contract three times. In 2006 and 2015, he was a candidate for the Sumy Regional Council from the parties "Reforms and Order" and "Ukrainian Union of Patriots — UKROP," and in 2019, he was a candidate for the People's Deputy of Ukraine from the 162nd electoral district as an independent candidate. He was killed on March 12, 2022, during a mortar shelling in the area of Kharkiv. He is survived by his wife, son, and daughter.
