Serhii A. Motyl

In 1997, he entered the 1st grade of the Zhelanivka Secondary School of I-III levels. In 2006, he graduated from 9 grades of the same school. From 2006 to 2009, he studied at Avdiivka Vocational School No. 43. He obtained the specialty of "Electric Gas Welder, Car Repair Mechanic." In 2009, he enrolled in the Donetsk Industrial College. In the same year, he was called up for compulsory military service (served in the city of Kherson, military unit No. 1836). In 2010, he returned from the army and transferred to part-time studies at the Donetsk Industrial College. In December 2010, he got a job at the Zasyadko mine as an underground miner. In 2012, he graduated from the college and obtained the specialty of technician-mechanic for car and engine repair. On February 18, 2015, he was mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine along with his brother Yuriy. On December 1, 2015, he died from a shrapnel wound in the village of Pisky, Yasynuvata district, Donetsk region.
