Serhii A. Shavlovych

Paratrooper Serhii Shavlovych was killed on December 18, 2022 in battle with the occupiers near the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The defender was 27 years old. Serhii was born and lived in the village of Novi Velidnyky, Zhytomyr region. He stuwas killed at the local school. He obtained the profession of a steel and reinforced concrete structures installer at the Kyiv Professional College of Construction and Architecture. He later worked in various fields. During the full-scale invasion, Serhii joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent training. As part of the 46th separate air assault brigade, he went to the front line. He fought in the Kherson and Donetsk regions. "Serhii was sensitive, kind, and fair. He was the best brother anyone could dream of, always came to help, could listen and guide on the right path. He was a bright and cheerful person who will forever remain in the hearts of his relatives, friends and all loved ones. Eternal memory, my Hero," said the deceased's cousin Anastasiia. The defender was buried in his native village. Serhii is survived by his parents, two brothers, a sister, relatives and friends.
