Serhii B. Nailovets

Sergiy Naylovets, a scout, was killed on September 9, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The defender was 32 years old. Sergiy was born in the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. In 2007, he graduated from Kramatorsk Secondary School No. 17, where he was an active participant in all events and a winner of sports competitions. After school, he went to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the start of the full-scale war, the man went to the front, telling his mother: "I know that my place is here." Sergiy served in the reconnaissance company of the 54th separate mechanized brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa. He was defending his native Donetsk region from Russian invaders. The soldier's life was cut short near the village of Spirne. The defender was buried in the city of Dnipro. Sergiy is survived by his wife, two sons, mother, younger brothers and sisters.
