Serhii I. Hondiuk (Hun)

Serhii Ihorovych Hondiuk was born on March 21, 1990, in the village of Matusiv, Shpoliankyi district, Cherkasy region. Since 2014, he has been a participant in the ATO/OOS, actively participating in combat operations in the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Since 2015, he has been serving under a contract. During the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was the chief sergeant of the mechanized company of the mechanized battalion of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Konstantin Ostrozkyi. He was killed on March 25, 2022, in battle in the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. He was buried in the city of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi, Cherkasy region. He is survived by his wife.
