Serhii I. Kanalosh (Kan)

Soldier Serhii Kanalosh (call sign Kan) was killed on March 28, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Ozarianivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was forever 23 years old. Serhii was born in the village of Mykhailenky, Zhytomyr region. He graduated from the 9th grade of the Velykokorovynets secondary school. In 2019, he served in the National Guard of Ukraine. After demobilization, he went to work abroad. He always devoted his free time to sports. When the full-scale war began, the man returned to his homeland and voluntarily went to the military enlistment office. Later, he joined the 4th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine and went to the front line. "He was fair, courageous, cheerful and friendly," said the sister of the fallen Anastasia. The defender was buried in his native village. Serhii is survived by his parents, brothers, sisters and a beloved girlfriend.
