Serhii I. Revenko (Vikinh)

Sergeant Serhii Revenko (call sign Viking) died on June 13, 2023, during assault operations in the area of the village of Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 37 years old. Serhii was born in the village of Zelenyi Hai, Mykolaiv region. He lived in Mykolaiv. In 2003, he graduated from Vocational School No. 11, where he obtained the profession of a repair mechanic and a manual arc welder. He worked as a 5th grade mechanic in the emergency dispatch service of PJSC "Mykolaivgas". In his free time, he loved fishing, which was his way of relaxing. During the full-scale war, in February 2023, the man was drafted into the newly formed 37th separate marine brigade. Serhii underwent training in Poland and France. When he returned, he served in a separate reconnaissance platoon. He was the commander of a combat vehicle. "My husband was incredibly kind, cheerful and full of life, he was not afraid of anything. There is no one like him... And there never will be. He was like a bright sun to me. He always supported me. He was a very responsible person. He was always smiling and never showed how difficult it was for him. I will always remember and love him. He is the best man in my life," said Anna Revenko. The marine was buried in the cemetery of the Velyka Korenikha microdistrict in Mykolaiv. Serhii is survived by his mother, wife, son, sister, niece, mother-in-law, father-in-law, friends and loved ones.
