Serhii I. Storozhuk

Born on May 21, 1991, in the city of Uzhhorod, Zakarpattia region. In 2008, he graduated from secondary school No. 6 named after V. S. Hrendzha-Donsky in Uzhhorod, and in 2011 - from the Karpaty University named after Augustin Voloshyn (Uzhhorod). Since January 18, 2012, he served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a cadet in the 169th Training Guards Zvenyhorod Order of the Red Banner and Suvorov Center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (the urban-type settlement of Desna, Kozelets district, Chernihiv region), then as a mechanic-driver of the mountain infantry section of the mountain infantry platoon of the mountain infantry company of the 15th Separate Guards Mountain Infantry Sevastopol Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Battalion of the 128th Separate Guards Mountain Infantry Turkestan-Zakarpattia Twice Order of the Red Banner Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1778, Uzhhorod). Since the spring of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On June 17, 2014, soldier Martyn was killed during a battle with Russian-terrorist groups as a result of a rocket grenade hitting an infantry fighting vehicle near the settlement of Metalist in the Slovianoserbsk district of Luhansk region. Also in this battle, junior sergeant Popadynec and soldier Kuliya were killed. On June 21, 2014, he was buried on the Hill of Glory at the "Kalvaria" cemetery in Uzhhorod.
