Serhii L. Hubanov (Siedoi)

In 1999, he graduated from the Donetsk Institute of Internal Affairs, and in 2004, from the National Academy of Internal Affairs. He lived in Severodonetsk. He served his mandatory service in the 95th Air Assault Brigade. Since 1995, he progressed from an investigator in the Stakhanov City Police Department to the head of the Luhansk City Police Department. At the beginning of 2014, he held the position of head of the Leninsky District Police Department in Luhansk. He was captured by militants along with other police officers. After his release, he participated in the liberation of Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, and Rubizhne from illegal armed groups. His parents in Luhansk disowned him due to his pro-Ukrainian stance. He has been in the position of battalion commander since November 6, 2015.
