Serhii M. Chudivskyi (Chernihiv)

Sergeant Serhii Chudivskyy was killed on June 4, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Bilohorivka in the Donetsk region. He would have turned 26 years old on June 21. Serhii was born in the village of Berezna, Chernihiv region. He studied at the local school. In 2017, he graduated from the Chernihiv Cooperative Professional College, where he studied in the technology department. He worked as a pastry chef. In his free time, he played sports, particularly football for the team of his native village. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Serhii defended his homeland in the ranks of one of the brigades of the National Guard of Ukraine. He was a scout. "We grew up together. Serhii was the best player on the Berezna football team. He was friendly, strong, hardworking, courageous, cheerful, and sincere. He loved football and wrestling. He felt that after completing his military service, he would have to take up arms again. That's why he went to war voluntarily and bravely carried out tasks in the hottest spots from the very beginning of the war," said Vladyslav, the deceased's best friend. "Serhii will forever remain in our memory as an energetic, kind, and sensitive person. Eternal honor to the Hero!" the Chernihiv College noted. The defender was buried in his native village. His parents and younger sister were waiting for him at home.
