- Born on June 20, 1980, in the village of Studena, Pishchansky District, Vinnytsia Oblast. In 1996, he graduated from the general education school in the village of Studena, then from the Kryzhopil Construction Vocational Technical School No. 9 (now the State Educational Institution "Kryzhopil Professional Construction Lyceum," the urban-type settlement of Kryzhopil, Vinnytsia Oblast). Worked in a tractor brigade, then in various jobs in the cities of Ukraine. On August 23, 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Kryzhopil-Pishchansky United District Military Commissariat of Vinnytsia Oblast. He served in the anti-aircraft artillery platoon of the 46th Separate Special Purpose Battalion "Donbas-Ukraine" of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V2612, the city of Lozova, Kharkiv Oblast). He participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Call sign "Duda." On July 14, 2016, around 02:00, soldier Dunaevsky was killed as a result of artillery shelling of the forward positions of Ukrainian troops near the city of Marinka, Donetsk Oblast, receiving two penetrating fatal wounds to the back.
