Serhii M. Feshchenko (Zhak)

Senior soldier Serhii Feshchenko (call sign Zhak) died on October 21, 2023 during combat operations near the settlement of Dibrova in the Luhansk region. He remained forever 40 years old. Serhii was born in the village of Novoselytsia, Cherkasy region. After finishing school, he obtained the profession of a carpenter at the Vatutine Vocational and Technical School. He worked as a construction worker in Kyiv. Work was his greatest passion. He dreamed of participating in the country's reconstruction after the war. He spent his free time with his family, in particular he loved to relax in nature with his loved ones. On December 22, 2022, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He became a fighter of the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He served in the anti-aircraft missile and artillery division. "The best dad and loving husband. He was a patriot of his country. He was wounded several times, but did not abandon his comrades. He always helped others, despite his health," said the wife of the deceased Yulia. The military was buried in Shpola, Cherkasy region. At home in Serhii, his father, wife, son, daughter, brother and sister were waiting.
