Serhii M. Lymar (Set)

Serviceman Serhii Lymar was killed on November 17, 2022 during a battle with the occupiers in the Donetsk region. Near the village of Yakovlivka, the defender received a fatal wound. The warrior was 44 years old. Serhii was originally from the Dnipropetrovsk region. Since 2014, he lived in the village of Ilarionove. He was a private entrepreneur. He was engaged in the cleaning of ponds, rivers and lakes. During the full-scale war, Serhii joined the defense of Ukraine as part of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade. He was a gunner-operator. "He was a good and loving father, a beloved husband. He always worked for the benefit of his family. He wanted to do a lot in this life," said the warrior's wife Olha. "Serhii had a keen sense of justice, was not indifferent to the life of the Ilarionivska community and sought to improve its environment, professionally working on solving environmental issues," the Ilarionivska community noted. Serhii was buried in the Tatar cemetery in the village of Ilarionove in the Dnipropetrovsk region. At home, the defender was awaited by his wife and two daughters: Anastasia and Zlata.
