Serhii M. Myroshnychenko

Soldier Serhii Myroshnychenko was killed on August 3, 2023, while performing a combat mission near the city of Mariinka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was forever 32 years old. Serhii was born in the village of Obody, Sumy region. He graduated from school there. Then he obtained the profession of an electric welder at the Sumy Vocational and Technical School No. 16. He lived and worked in Sumy. During the full-scale war, the man was voluntarily mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 79th Separate Airmobile Brigade. He underwent training in the Zhytomyr region and in the United Kingdom, took the position of a rifleman, and together with his comrades-in-arms went to defend the Donetsk region. "Serhii was such a bright person, he never left anyone in trouble and always helped everyone," said his sister Olha. The paratrooper was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Baranivsky cemetery in Sumy. At home, Serhii was awaited by his parents, sister, other relatives, and friends.
