Serhii M. Nikitin (Bukhhalter)

Soldier Serhii Nikitin (call sign Accountant) was killed on October 14, 2023 in a battle with Russian invaders in the area of the village of Berkhivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was forever 42 years old. Serhii was born in the city of Vinnytsia. He obtained a professional education in the specialty of "Applied Mechanics" at the Vinnytsia Vocational and Technical School. In civilian life, he worked as a construction worker. His last job was the construction of a private school in Kyiv. During the full-scale war, in February 2023, the man was voluntarily mobilized into the ranks of the defenders. He served in the 77th separate airmobile brigade of the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent training in Britain. Later, he held the position of a sniper in a sniper platoon. "Serhii could not stand aside, so he went to defend Ukraine! He was a very kind, sensitive and intelligent person. He had an exceptional sense of humor, he could cheer everyone up even in the difficult moments of life. He did not like to talk about tasks in hot spots, he protected from difficult situations, everything was always good with him. He knew how to do everything in the world: cook borscht, bake bread, build a house, repair a rifle. He was a psychologist for those around him, and a wise person in general. He loved his children very much and was proud of their achievements. He was very strong, courageous, fair, and loved Ukraine! Forever with us!" - his wife told about the deceased. The paratrooper was buried in the village of Tsybulivka in the Vinnytsia region. At home, Serhii was waited for by his wife, three children, sister and brother.
