  Died on May 13, 2015, in a hospital in Kherson from a disease acquired as a result of chemical poisoning received in August 2014 during battles near the town of Novosvitlivka in the Krasnodon district of Luhansk region. At that time, Russian armed formations used cluster munitions with phosphorus, which are prohibited by international conventions.
