- Captain Serhii Kolisnichenko (call sign Koleso) was killed on April 23, 2022, near the village of Oleksandrivka in Kharkiv region. During the execution of a combat mission, his Mi-24 helicopter was shot down by the occupiers. Exactly one month before this, the officer turned 40. Serhii was born in the city of Haisyn, Vinnytsia region. In 2003, he graduated from the Kharkiv National University of Air Force named after Ivan Kozhedub with a specialization in "Combat use and management of aviation unit actions." He obtained the qualification of a specialist, an officer of military management at the tactical level. In 2006, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Management at the European University in Kherson. He loved flying very much. In his free time, he played football. Since 2012, the officer had served in the 11th Separate Brigade of Army Aviation "Kherson." He was a senior pilot of the helicalter flight of the helicopter squadron. He flew the Mi-24. From the first days of the full-scale war, Serhii defended the sky over Ukraine from Russian occupiers. For successfully completing combat missions in March 2022, he was awarded the Order of Danilo Halytskyi. "He was the best man and the best father. He loved life, loved to fly, loved to live, and was in a hurry to live. He was simply the best!" said the officer's wife, Nataliia. "On behalf of the entire community, we express our condolences to the wife, parents, children, and all relatives and friends of the fallen Hero. A low bow to our warrior-defender! Eternal memory to the Hero!" wrote the head of the Haisyn military district administration, Liudmyla Holovashchuk. The pilot was buried in his hometown.
