Serhii O. Reutsa (Yakudza, Siao)

30-year-old soldier Serhii Reutsa (call sign Yakudza, Xiao) was killed on February 3, 2023 in a battle with the occupiers near the village of Stupochky in the Donetsk region. During the enemy tank shelling, one of the shells hit the trench where the fighter was with his comrade-in-arms. Both was killed. Serhii was born in the city of Sokil (Russia). He lived in the city of Pyatihatky in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He graduated from the Vilnohirsk Vocational and Technical College, where he obtained the profession of an electrician. He had a talent for electrical repairs and could fix anything in general. He adored music. He was married. During the full-scale invasion, the man defended Ukraine and his family as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a rifleman in the 80th separate air assault brigade. "The man was very brave, kind, caring, balanced and wise. He always told us with his daughter: 'I'm here so you can sleep peacefully,'" said the wife of the fallen fighter, Yulia. "He will forever remain in our memory as a courageous defender, a fearless warrior, a great patriot of Ukraine... Eternal memory to the hero who gave his life for Ukraine," the Kamyanska RDA noted. The paratrooper was buried in the city of Pyatihatky in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Serhii is survived by his parents, brother, sister, wife and daughter.
