Biography
Sysoiev Serhii Oleksandrovych was born on April 20, 1997 in Zmiyiv, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region. Participant of the Revolution of Dignity. Participant of the Kharkiv Euromaidan. In March 2014, together with the "Right Sector", he actively participated in the battles on Rymarska Street in Kharkiv, as well as in the Kharkiv Euromaidan. Shortly before that, together with his comrades-in-arms, he blocked buses in Zmiyiv that were heading to Kharkiv for the congress of the "Party of Regions" on February 22. In 2014, he took part in the formation of the "Azov" battalion, and also underwent training in Valky, Kharkiv region. Later, as part of the special forces unit "Khort", he patrolled and ensured public order at the Kharkiv Southern Railway Station. He was a member of the public organization "Coordination Center for Public Security of Ukraine". In 2015-2016, he took part in the training of fighters of the "Aidar" and "Donbas" battalions in Metallist, collaborated with the "Right Sector" and the public organization "Sotnya Leva". He was an active participant in one of the first volunteer centers in the Kharkiv region. At the same time, he constantly honed his military skills with instructors from the public organization "Ukrainian Legion". In 2017, he was drafted into the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a senior sergeant, a senior weapons operator of the 73rd Marine Corps Special Operations Center, in which he served under contract from 2017 to 2022. For four years, he was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation. During the war, he took part in the defense of the cities of Mariupol, Popasna, Mykolaiv, and others. During his service, he completed training in the specialty of "Scout", took courses with foreign partners and paramedic courses, as well as combat swimmer courses, mountain training, airborne training, and made 20 parachute jumps, including into water. He was a professional military diver (made jumps into the water from a helicopter, boarding actions on the water), was proficient in various weapons, was passionate about sniping, and took part in joint exercises with the Security Service of Ukraine, repeatedly representing the military unit at hand-to-hand combat championships and other competitions. He was a Master of Sports of Ukraine in kickboxing. He was killed on June 15, 2022 while performing tasks in the Kherson region. He left behind a wife and daughter.Burial place
