Serhii O. Tyshchenko (Tak)

Senior Soldier Serhii Tyshchenko was killed on July 3, 2023, while performing his duties in the area of the village of Shevchenko in the Donetsk region. The defender was 38 years old. Serhii was from the Poltava region. He was a resident of the city of Hadiach. He obtained the profession of a locksmith at the Hadiach Professional Agrarian Lyceum. Later, he got married. He dedicated all his free time to his family. On the second day of the full-scale war, on February 25, 2022, the man stood up to defend his Homeland from the occupiers. Initially, he was mobilized to the Myrhorod RTCK and served in the guard company. Later, he was transferred to the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians. He held the position of senior gunner of the mortar battery. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he fought in the Donetsk region, in particular, he defended the village of Pavlivka and the city of Vuhledar. Serhii was a loving father and husband, a faithful friend who was always ready to help," said his wife Vita Tyshchenko. "We miss him very much, we love him," wrote his niece Kseniia Lvov. The warrior was buried at the New Cemetery in Hadiach. Serhii is survived by his parents, brother, wife, son, daughter, and other relatives, friends, and comrades-in-arms.
